On Good Friday, we take a close look at the cross of Christ. Director of Operations, Deni Sunderly, leads us as we look at the events surrounding Jesus’ death, and the reasons behind it. God wasn’t surprised or caught off guard by any of the events of Jesus’ last week, and He offers us freedom and new life through His Son’s death. God loves us greatly, and we can clearly see that as we lean in and dig into the account of Jesus’ sacrifice for us. The Scripture texts used are: John 19: 25-27, Luke 23: 26-27, 32-46, Isaiah 53, and Colossians 1: 15-20 (The Message).
