We no return to our regular schedule

Dear Church Family,

I hope you enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Many of us gathered at tables of abundance as we celebrated God’s rich blessings.

When Amanda and I first got married, we began a Thanksgiving tradition for our family that we continued yesterday. Just before the Thanksgiving meal, we’ll read from Psalm 100 and meditate on what the Psalmist has to say about giving thanks. I share this passage with you in hopes that you’ll inspired to give gratitude to God as the Psalmist does. We truly have much for which to be thankful.

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.

We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Psalm 100 (NLT)

Blessings,

Chris

p.s. While we enjoyed our combined service last weekend, our worship services will go back to their regular scheduled times for this weekend. Join us for what’s sure to be an inspiring time of worship! In addition to music and a message, we have 4 new members who will join our Motley Crew at the 8:30 AM service on Sunday (bringing our total number of new members for 2018 to 46). In addition, we’ll baptize 3 little girls at the 10:30 AM on Sunday and say a word of prayer for David Hill, a recent high school graduate who joined the military and leaves for bootcamp next week. As always, it’s going to be a great weekend at Community of Faith! See you soon.
