Kathy Beuttenmuller

Kathy Beuttenmuller joined the Community of Faith staff in May 2016. She has extensive background in early childhood education including 4 1/2 years at Community of Faith Learning Center. While working as a teacher assistant, she led chapel with the children on Wednesday and Thursday. Kathy also earned her CDA (Child Development Associate) while working at the learning center. She has been married to her husband, Rick, for 10 years and they have two wonderful children ages 9 and 7. Kathy enjoys going to Tampa Bay Rays baseball games, spending time at the beach, enjoying time with her family, reading, cooking and of course Pinterest.

What is your favorite Scripture verse or passage?
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

What was your childhood ambition?
I had an amazing kindergarten teacher and because of her, I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher.

What was your first job?
The summer of my freshman year of high school, I volunteered at an United Way child care center. The summer of my sophomore year of high school, I was a nanny for 2 boys. I learned all about Power Rangers that summer.

What is your favorite food?
I love Mexican food.

What would a perfect day be for you?
I love being around water. My perfect day would be enjoying the beach or hanging out by the pool with my family.

What are your favorite characteristics of Jesus?
He was so forgiving. When he was being crucified he asked for God to forgive those that were hurting him.
