Special Olympics:  Olympic events for the disabled.  Volunteers are needed in areas such as: helping at the events, transportation during events, sports training for the participants, administration, fundraising, etc.  There are numerous facilities and events near us/ www.specialolympics.org.

A wish-granting foundation for terminally ill children and their families. Each day at GKTW, volunteers show families love by carrying out such duties as scooping ice cream, serving breakfast, driving the Village train, welcoming families, and more.
