What is your favorite Scripture verse or passage?
Isaiah 61:1-4. In addition to being the words Jesus reads at the beginning of his ministry in Luke’s Gospel, that passage is a great reminder that God’s Kingdom doesn’t always work the way we might expect it to.
What was your childhood ambition?
That certainly changed a few times but I wanted to be an architect for a good stretch as I liked building new things.
What was your first job?
Besides some babysitting jobs, my first job where I got a paycheck was working as a lifeguard at the local pool. I grew up swimming and playing water polo so the pool was a second home for me.
What is your favorite food?
I love good BBQ. It is coffee that keeps the engine running though!
What would a perfect day be for you?
I love going to new places and trying new food. The regular spots are Disney and the beach with the family.
What are your favorite characteristics of Jesus?
One of my favorite characteristics of Jesus is that he saw people for who they could be, not just who they were. Jesus called Peter a ‘rock’ well before he demonstrated being one.
