Community of Faith's Stepping Stones ministry participates in TerraCycle, a fundraising through recycling program. The following list of items may be brought to church and droped off in the TerraCycle bin located next to the Stepping Stones registration desk. Last year this program raised over $1,200 for use in commuity and other special projects.
Items being collected:
- Candy Wrapers - any brand
- Cheese Packaging - any brand
- Cookie and Chips Packaging - any brand
- Clear tape cores and packaging - any brand
- Diaper Packages - any brand
- Energy Bar / Granola Bar Wrapers and Pop Tart Packaging
- Electronics (Cell Phones, Digital Cameras, Inkjet cartridges, Keyboards, Laptops, Mice, MP3 players) - any brand
- Elemers Glue bottles
- GoGo SqueeZ tube
- Lunch Kit packages - Lunchables and any other brand
- Medical tubes - any brand
- Personal Care and Beauty containers (Shampoo bottles, lipsticks, makeup cases, etc.)
- Solo brand cups and plates (clear and color)
- Sprout Baby Food Pouches
- Tortilla & Tostadas Bags
- Toothpaste tubes and brushes - any brand
- Yogut Cups and lids
A team of volunteers meets once a month to sort and ship the donated recycled materials. To assist with with this program contact Karrie Moore at kmoore@communityoffaith.org
